He Must Increase
Saturday Jun 14, 2025
Saturday Jun 14, 2025
In today’s reflection, Fr. Sam Kachuba invites us to ask: what does it really mean to live for Christ? The love of God urges us to let go of living for ourselves and to embrace a life entirely shaped by Our Lord. When we accept that we are no longer our own, everything—our desires, decisions, and direction—is reoriented toward Him.

Carrying Christ in a Broken World
Friday Jun 13, 2025
Friday Jun 13, 2025
In today’s reflection, Fr. Sam Kachuba speaks about the mystery of carrying Christ within our fragile humanity. Though we face hardship, rejection, or isolation, we are never abandoned. The Church bears the dying of Christ so that His life may be revealed through us. The treasure we hold is not of our own making; it is a gift from God, meant to transform us into His likeness!

Participating in God's Mercy
Thursday Jun 12, 2025
Thursday Jun 12, 2025
In today's reflection, Fr. Sam Kachuba challenges us to take a hard look at our relationships. Are we holding grudges, withholding forgiveness, or avoiding difficult conversations? Righteousness goes deeper than appearances; it requires mercy, healing, and reconciliation. We’re called to seek peace with those around us. Even when it’s hard, God’s grace is ready to meet us there.

Entrusted to Carry the Light
Saturday Jun 07, 2025
Saturday Jun 07, 2025
Who has been a mentor or guide in your faith journey—a teacher, youth minister, priest, or friend from your church? Think about the lessons they’ve shared and the ways they’ve pointed you closer to God.
Fr. Sam invites us to reflect on the countless moments where we’ve encountered the presence and power of the Holy Spirit—those times we’ve knelt before the tabernacle, felt God’s guidance, or experienced His grace.
As the Easter season draws to a close, this reflection reminds us of the richness of the Gospel and the incredible gift we are entrusted to carry forward into the world.

In Our Imperfection, Jesus Meets US.
Friday Jun 06, 2025
Friday Jun 06, 2025
As the Easter season comes to a close, we return to a moment of deep tenderness between Jesus and Peter. Three times Jesus asks, “Do you love me?”—a mirror to Peter’s three denials. But rather than rebuke, Jesus offers restoration.
Fr. Sam reflects on the layers of love revealed in their exchange, from divine, unconditional love to the honest offering of friendship. Even when Peter can’t yet love as fully as Jesus asks, Jesus doesn’t withdraw the mission. He says, “Feed my sheep.”
This episode is a moving reminder that Jesus meets us in our imperfect love, entrusts us with His work, and patiently increases our capacity to love as He does.

Christ’s Prayer, Our Communion
Thursday Jun 05, 2025
Thursday Jun 05, 2025
In today’s Gospel reflection, Fr. Sam Kachuba explores the depths of Christ’s prayer—not only for His apostles, but for us. Jesus desires closeness, not control. His love draws us into relationship, and His prayer reaches across time to include all who believe through the witness of the apostles.
Fr. Sam reflects on this longing for union and the intimate presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, where we receive Him not merely as symbol, but in truth—personally and profoundly. Christ wants to dwell in us. And the Mass becomes the meeting place where that prayer is fulfilled.
A rich meditation on love, presence, and the heart of the Church’s worship.

Truth Isn’t Always Easy
Wednesday Jun 04, 2025
Wednesday Jun 04, 2025
In today’s reading from, Fr. Sam Kachuba reflects on Jesus’ words: I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth. This prayer reveals not only Christ’s love for His apostles, but also His desire for all of us to be set apart in the Truth.
Fr. Sam draws a parallel to the vocation of every priest—to be consecrated to God for the sake of His people, and to lead them to the truth. While truth can sometimes challenge or confront us, it is always offered within the beauty of Christ’s relationship with the Father. In that sacred space of prayer, truth is not cold—it is radiant and transformative.

Embrace the Truth
Tuesday Jun 03, 2025
Tuesday Jun 03, 2025
During today’s reflection Fr. Sam Kachuba reflects on Jesus’ powerful prayer in John 17:1–11, drawing a striking parallel to St. Paul’s farewell in Acts 20:17–27. Both moments capture a heartfelt recap—a passing on of the fullness of the Gospel.
As Jesus prays to the Father, saying He has shared everything with His followers, Paul echoes the same spirit, telling the priests of Ephesus he has not withheld a single word of God’s plan. Fr. Sam invites us to reflect on this as a blueprint for today’s preachers—and a prayer we can offer for our priests and bishops: that they may have the courage to proclaim the entire Gospel, especially when it’s difficult.
A short but bold encouragement to remain faithful, speak the Truth, and trust in the grace of Christ.

The Joy That Survives the Storm
Friday May 30, 2025
Friday May 30, 2025
Fr. Sam Kachuba reflects on Jesus’ promise in John 16:20–23: though sorrow may come, joy will follow. The Christian path isn’t always easy, but when we walk with Christ, no trial can steal the joy rooted in Him.
