Follow What They Say, Not What They Do - Daily Gospel Reflection

Today’s Gospel Reading is Mt 23:1-12

Jesus reminds us that the scribes and pharisees have taken their seat in the chair of Moses, the seat of authority. They teach with true authority. As a result, Jesus tells the people to do what they tell them, but NOT to follow their example.

Do we live the faith that we profess?

Let us pray today for the grace to live out the fullness of the Gospel, preaching the Gospel and acts and words.
