Receiving the TRUE Bread from Heaven - Daily Gospel Reflection

Today’s Gospel Reading is John 6:1-15.

This is the beginning of the Bread of Life Discourse, where Jesus feeds the 5000. Jesus wants to feed the people with bread that has no earthly origin. It is a meal that leaves everyone satisfied.

Jesus who is the Bread of Life, gives Himself to us as our true food. We receive His living Body in the Eucharist so that we might share in His life.
