We sometimes fall into the fallacy that work is contrary to God’s plan. However, from the beginning work has been included in the Lord’s plan. Prior to the fall it had a place, but now after the fall, it takes on a new difficulty.
St. Joseph as a just man and the foster father of the Lord works always in union with God.
Let us pray that we will share not only in God’s work, but God’s glory.

Today’s Gospel Reading is John 6:60-69.
There is quarreling among Jesus’s disciples because He said, “I am the bread of life, My Flesh is true food and my Blood is true drink. Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink the blood you have not life within you”. This saying is a challenge. Jesus lets them struggle and, if they choose to, He lets them walk away.
Jesus never denies us the freedom to ask questions, or even, have doubts. If you have a question of faith, bring it to Him today.
